To be honest, this photo was inspired by my grandfather’s work. He used to paint acrylic abstracts of horizons. Many of them had layers, and evoke in the viewer a feeling more than a precise vision. This photo contains a few elements to me: the dreamy out of focus waves holding up a distant barge, the sharpness of the sand that supports a couple walking as one into the bright reflection of the sun. It’s not necessary to notice those things, though. It’s enough for them to be felt.
My photos are giclee printed on fine art, acid-free, archival matte 230 gsm paper using aqueous pigment ink. Your order will have a matte finish on smooth paper.
