The sunsets are different up and down the California coast, but I didn’t know that yet when I took this photo near Fort Bragg. I was enchanted by the softness of the sun, the way it seemed to crawl up onto the grassy headland to rest on its way down, promising the flowers they would meet again tomorrow.
