Marfa Rail at Sunset

Marfa, TX is a sleepy town known for a brimming art scene and the nearby “Marfa Lights” which mysteriously appear distant in the fields north of town, which can be seen from a rest area with telescopes intended for viewing the lights. They twinkle slowly and bob up and down in the low light of evening. The railway that passes through is what allowed the town to begin to spool into what it is today. It is not only a vestige of the past, but a fully functioning road for trains still to this day. One passed by rather swiftly just after I took this photo.
